Forelock and Fringe is the UK’s number 1 susbcription box for horse & rider. We carefully tailor subscription boxes, centred around the hectic equestrian lifestyle. We work with some of the best brands to connect you to your new favourite equestrian products for both you and your horse, along with our fabulous lifestyle finds for you too!
Head to our join the club page and fill out your details for you and your horse. There is even a series of super detailed questions at the end as an optional extra, or you can complete these at a later date!
The box will include both prestigious brands you know and love, and smaller independent brands you might not have heard of before. All boxes contain between 5-7 items for both horse & rider including things such as:
- Rider Clothing
- Horse wear
- Grooming brushes
- Lotions & Potions
- Horse treats
- Homewear
- Snacks for the rider
- Equestrian accessories
- A pole work or gridwork exercise sheet
The contents are always worth over £65 RRP and are always seasonal and useful items, ensuring everything is suitable for the season ahead! Every box is tailored to each horse & rider to ensure everything is perfect for you both!
Our aim is to connect you with new and different products you may not typically purchase, we have had so many of our members telling us they have found a new favourite product or brand through their boxes. Our boxes are typically suited more towards a late teen to adult, female audience and clothing is typically more feminine. We would advise you to have a look at our social media or our previous boxes page to see some of our past curations. Don’t worry! You can answer a series of more detailed questions either on sign up or afterwards at anytime, including your upper and lower half size!
Of cause you can. With our monthly or bi-monthly subscription there is no contracts or no commitments, you can leave with a click on a button and it’s free of charge.
To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:
1. Visit our website at www.forelockandfringe.co.uk.
2. Log in to your account using your credentials.
3. Go to the “My Account” section.
4. Click on “Subscriptions.”
5. Here, you’ll find the “Cancel” button. Click on it to cancel your subscription.
Once you’ve completed these steps, your subscription will be cancelled.
If you are on our 3 or 6 monthly contract plan, then you have committed to a minimum of 3 or 6 months with this being a recurring subscription (Although you are contracted with this plan, it does benefit from additional discounts). This plan can also be easily cancelled via the ‘My Account’ section after you have received your minimum term subscription. If for any reason you need to cancel your 3 or 6 month subscription mid term, this will incur a cancellation fee and you need need to email us at contact@forelockandfringe.co.uk
Make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure you don’t get charged for the following month, for example if your renewal date is the 3rd you must cancel before the 2nd of the month.
Well when you complete our preference quiz you can let us know if you prefer ‘Colourful’ Neutral or if you don’t mind what colours you get! As well as this you can also select 3 colours you love and 1 colour you would prefer us to avoid. Please note this is for horse & rider clothing items at the moment. As a small business, it’s logistically challenging to specify colours for every single item in each box for every member.
Please note: While we strive to tailor our boxes to meet your preferences, we can’t always guarantee that we’ll fulfil your requests for specific colours or avoid certain colours. This is because we rely on stock received from suppliers, and there may be uncertainties about available colours.Please understand that we do our best to provide a tailored experience, but there are limitations beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding.
We are pleased to offer free exchanges worldwide for clothing items for a different size (We can also accommodate exchanges for colours in some situations)!
However, please note that we can only process exchanges for different sizing or colour based on our stock availability, as we are not a traditional shop and do not maintain excess inventory. Therefore, exchanges are subject to the availability of the desired item, and we cannot guarantee exchanges for the exact same colour or style, especially if various colours and styles are sent out to members.
Please note we are able to offer exchanges for different colour/sizing for horse & rider clothing items only. Regrettably we are unable to exchange any other items within your box. In cases where sizing/colour preferences have been initially inputted incorrectly, we are able to offer one free exchange, and we will assist you in updating your subscription to ensure correct preferences. However, if subsequent sizing/colour adjustments are not made correctly, we are unable to offer further free exchanges until this has been amended. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of having stock availability. Please be aware that in situations where we have completely sold out of our boxes, we regretfully cannot offer exchanges
If you wish to request an exchange, kindly notify us in writing at contact@forelockandfringe.co.uk and we can check our available stock and will provide you access to our returns portal. To be eligible for an exchange, you must notify us and ensure that we receive the item within 14 days of you receiving your box.
Yes! We can tailor the boxes to suit requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, diary free & gluten free. If you have a specific retirement not listed above please email us at contact@forelockandfringe.co.uk and we can advise if this is something can can cater for.
We ship worldwide! We are based in the UK but are proud to now have over 25% of our monthly subscribers based internationally! Because of this we have managed to work with local couriers to provide very reasonable shipping times and prices worldwide.

Shipping prices are calculated at checkout based on order weight. We have weight and size restrictions on orders that we send with our courier, Royal Mail. Any orders that exceed 2KG will be sent in multiple boxes and may arrive to your destination on different dates.
International shipping does not include VAT or Tax, therefore may be subject to any Import/Export or customs fees in your country, these are your responsibility. Forelock & Fringe is not responsible for any additional fees.

No need to worry! If you received an order confirmation via email we have received your order. Your order will say it is processing until it is dispatched which will then change to complete. If you have any questions please contact us at contact@forelockandfringe.co.uk and we will be happy to help!
To update your preferences and ensure our boxes are tailored to you, follow these steps:
- Visit our website and log in to your account using your credentials.
- Once logged in, navigate to the “My Preferences” section. You can usually find it by clicking on your profile icon or accessing the account settings.
- In the “My Preferences” section, you will find a series of detailed questions related to yours and your horse’s sizes. These questions are designed to gather specific information that will help us customize your boxes more effectively.
Updating your preferences helps us personalize your boxes effectively. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance.
Whilst we work with different brands every month, every brand has slightly different sizes and fits. Therefore, we will do our best to ensure items sent are based on the sizing you select to your account. This is a conversion chart and may be approx. All clothing will be in UK sizes or equivalent.

Currently, our boxes are tailored specifically for adult females. We have considered the possibility of offering boxes for males and for children, and it’s something that may be explored in the future. However, at this moment it is not part of our current business plan. Upon researching the feasibility of offering boxes for males and also for children, we’ve found that currently, there isn’t sufficient interest to make it viable for both us and our members. We truly appreciate your interest and sorry we are unable to offer this at this moment.
Credit card or debit card are the options we offer.
Your subscription will renew on the same day you originally started your subscription. For example if you started on the 3rd, your renewal will always be the 3rd. If another date within the month suits you better we can easily adjust it to a date to suit. Please send us an email to contact@forelockandfringe.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

No need to worry! Forelock and Fringe boxes are dispatched on or around the 5th of every month! In the UK they normally take between 2-4 days to arrive at your door. For orders outside the UK please allow 10 working days.

Subscribers can benefit from FREE shipping within the UK and there is a standard charge for one off boxes! There will be an additional shipping charge to our overseas customers.

It’s a fantastic way for you and a friend to save on your Forelock & Fringe subscription boxes. Both you and your friend will get 50% off your subscription boxes!
When you refer a friend, they get 50% off their subscription box, and once their order is completed and shipped, you’ll receive a coupon for 50% off your next box. If their order is refunded or returned, you won’t receive the coupon. The offer is only valid for new subscribers who have never placed an order with us before.
The 50% off discount is valid for monthly, bi-monthly, or 6-month recurring subscriptions. Unfortunately, it doesn’t apply to one-off purchases.
We are pleased to be able to offer 15% off our members only shop! It’s super easy to add extra products into your next box.
- Head to ‘Members shop’
- Locate the items you wish to add and just hit the ‘Add to next box’ button and it will be saved
- You will only be charged on your next renewal date and once complete these items will be removed moving forwards. Make sure you add items before your payment date otherwise this be included on your following box!
- To remove any items you can select the cross next to the item or head to your account and ‘Subscription add ons’ and here you can easily remove any items. Please note this must be done prior to your renewal.
Wait until your next box is due and all your added on items will be included alongside your next box. Reducing the need to pay extra for shipping costs or a trip to the shop as everything arrives in your regular subscription box!
If you have added a large number of extra items you box may be in large boxes than usual or may even be split into two boxes shipped separately.
Please note if your payment fails your added on items may no longer be held for you.
As a member, you can add items to your next subscription box and only get charged on your next renewal date. Make sure to add items before your payment date to have them included in your upcoming box. Members get 15% off the RRP on all items in the shop and pay no extra shipping. If your renewal order fails, these added items may no longer be held. Cancelling your subscription also removes any added items from your box. Enjoy the convenience of receiving all your essentials in one delivery!
